"These are dark times, there is no denying. Our world has, perhaps, faced no greater threat than it does today. But I say this to our citizenry: we, ever your servants, will continue to defend your liberty and repel the forces that seek to take it from you! Your Ministry remains strong."
when harry potter defeated lord voldemort, the wizarding world rejoiced. months later pregnancies began, probably from celebrations of a new beginning. upon the realization of the impact voldemort's name would have on the world, the defeaters of the dark lord gathered together to discuss their past. they concluded that the new generations of wizards should be hidden from the darkness that had taken over their own lives. instead, they would tell there had been wars - but not that they were over blood purity, involved torturing and killing, and centered around harry potter himself.
now that the next generation of children is grown into its teenage years, the people within it are questioning the history they've been told. they're not as gullible as their parents thought. instead, they ask questions about the supposed wars - made up of silly aspects like wars over dragon scales. it didn't make sense.
through the many questions, a new war is brewing. conflicts within wizarding society center around the exposure of magic to the muggle race. some believe muggles will accept them, others think they will abuse the powers of wizards.
in the darkness, lurking in the shadows, is the dark duo. two people who have a different idea for exposing magic to muggles - let them face the three unforgivable curses. torture. then inevitable death.
there's only so much time to get by on sugar coated lies.
